Graduation Crowd Flow Procedures and The “NO” List

GRADUATION NOTICE:
Graduation season is a very special time of the year for participants as well as their family and friends here in Hawaii. Listed below are the crowd flow procedures into the lei greeting area as well as special rules regarding what patrons can bring into our facilities (i.e. Arena, Tom Moffatt Waikiki Shell, Exhibition Hall for the school’s lei greeting portion, and the Concert Hall).

———————————————————————–

Flow of the Crowd from the Arena into the Exhibition Hall

The reason this is done is to manage the crowds that attend the Blaisdell Center for the lei greeting portions of a graduation event. In the past, there has been roughly 15,000 people here for one graduation and it is our priority to provide a safe place for all patrons that attend the center.

Once the students exit the Arena, this is the order into the Exhibition Hall:

1. The first area is the ARENA FLOOR LEVEL.
2. The second area is the ARENA UPPER LEVEL once the floors has completely emptied.
3. The third area is the OUTSIDE MAIN CONCOURSE once the entire Arena has emptied.
